Jack
What car jack is recommended for a 1939 sedan? I have a large floor jack I use on our Model A but I can tell the weight of a v8 is much greater. I don't want to have to put this floor jack in the car every time we drive somewhere.

The best thing you could do is visit your friendly "Pick-A-Part" emporium and search the trunks of all the latest spam cans looking for the most substantial SCISSORS JACK you can find. Pick one that is relatively low in the down position so that it will easily fit beneath any Ford I-beam or banjo rear end. You should be able to score at the junk yard (or swap meet) for well below $10 bucks. And they're easy to store in the vehicle, too. Coop |

Re: Jack
That could be an idea. The picture you show is like the one I have in our "A". I wasn't sure it would give me enough umpf to lift the car.
