Default floorboard screws

I cut new floorboards and bought the screw and washer kit from Snyders. I have new subframe rails without holes. What kind of nut do I use to hold the screw in place? The screw measures #12-24. I cannot find a speed nut this size.

it takes 12-24 D nuts, Snyder`s has them in steel. a lot of venders only have them in plated brass. you will need to drill hole and then file the hole out to fit the D nut. then using a ball peen hammer and something heavy to back it up. peen the D nut over in the hole. and for the ones you can`t back up tack weld them in.
