Default V8 verus V8-60 Wind Deflector

Looking to understand the deflector under the radiator that helps with wind deflection cooling the motor, is there a difference between a V8 and V8-60 model?

Any advise greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Um, what year?

I am assuming you mean the difference between the 85 V8 and the 60 V8. They are after all, both V8's.
I've attached a photo of the '40 Ford pans. Note the 60HP pan is longer. Why? The radiator sits back farther than it's big brother, the 85HP.
The side shields of the radiator are very different between the two as well.
