337 Ford Flathead
After adjusting the valve lash and replacing a bad valve spring on a 337 ci Flathead I noticed a stamping. I know the engine has been bored to .40 over as indicated by the .040 on the pistons.
Can anyone tell me what the stamping is on the intake gasket area of this flathead? It appears to be 98313 star. Not sure if that's Fomoco or a rebuilders stamp "Are you ignorant or apathetic? I don't know and I don't care." |

Re: 337 Ford Flathead
Looks like nothing more than a serial number and unless you have serial a number chart it could be any '48-'51 truck.
PICTURES ARE TOO BIG
