Question Another Test Question on the Cabriolets

The question is this in the Cabriolet Test:
I need help with this question and the question is:

Top Hold Down Brackets Were _________ ________ Thru Feb. 1930 and ______ _______ March. 1930 thru end of Production.

I'm just asking this to make sure I have this correct as I have no clue if this is correct or not and I have to be for sure on this one as the rest of the questions I know I have correct now but this one, I'm not for sure on as I have ( Body Color ) and ( Chrome Plated ) for the answer right now and don't know if that is correct on the test.

And that is what I need to find out for sure if I have the answer correct or not and if it's not correct I have no clue as to what it could be, as to me what I have down is the only thing it could be but have no clue on that one.

Please let me know on the answer as to the answer or as to where it is in the Standards book as I can't find it at all.

Thanks Reggiedog

I have no clue as I thought it was the painting like body color and Chrome plated but I have no clue as to what it is as it has to be in the Standards book and right no I have no clue, as to where that answer is in the book as most if not all are written in the book and some of the words are taken out for the tests.

And that's the problem I can't find the answer to it in the book so I put it on here in hoping that someone knows, as to what the answer is and where it is in the book as I need to know that as well.

I take it you have a Cabriolet from the 1930's, or don't you have a Cabriolet at all if not how do you know this.

I have 5 68c and 1 68b in the shop. I make a line of parts for cabby, a400 and 180a.
Many factory drawings of parts. I did not refer to JS for my answers….relied on eyes and memory..all of which are not what they used to be!
Are you asking of the finish of the 68b windshield? Chrome. A few very early were stainless but rare as unicorn. The inner parts (wind deflector, et al) were painted flat black. Original painting almost appears to be brushed!

Gary,

I already have that down but what scars me is the question 15 as I already answered that question the first time with ( Rubber Weather Seals ) and it was wrong so Now I have some proof that it's in the book as that, so he was wrong in marking that question wrong as it's not and that's what I thought all a long and here to find out every body else thinks the same as I do.

I think I'm going to send a letter with the test and say what page the test question is on and also question 16 also, as the book has as Painted Black and Chrome Plated and that's wrong also so those two questions are wrong on just that Cabriolets test.

As I have found out today as I'm going with a guy that has worked with the Cabriolets for 20 to 30 years I think he would know what the windshields trim was back then, but I probably won't send the letter until after I get the tests back from him so until I see the test and see those two wrong is when the letter will go out.
