Definition of Climate Contolled Storage
I know we all have different opinions what is meant by climate controlled storage. Mine would be enclosed dry storage heated to a minimum of 45 degrees and cooled to a maximum of 78 degrees. That is what I keep my cars in year round in the Northeast. Is that acceptable for proper storage?

Re: Definition of Climate Contolled Storage
I would think humidity level is as important as temperature; especially at the lower end.

Re: Definition of Climate Contolled Storage
I sure hope you're kidding. My shop in North Central Minnesota had been rodent-free for the 12 years I have owned it, and I believe that one of the main reasons is that I have NEVER allowed anything edible of any kind in it. No bags of chips, no candy bars, not even a can of pop or even a beer (which is a real sacrifice). I believe that as long as there is absolutely NOTHING to eat in a building, the little bastards won't come in. These forums are rife with stories of people with rodent problems caused by abundant food supplies. One of the worst offenders is dog food. People store their pet food in their garages and shops and then wonder why they have problems.
