Default fenders // tires

did any of the late 30 tudors come with the 31 style front fenders without the nose section? could not find anything in the j.s unless i missed it. i am considering putting 31 styles on to eliminate the work involved installing the noses and then ill get the matching running boards....
also was thinking of going with the goodyear's but they are narrower than the firestones (stock size) what do you think for handling/ looks being narrower ? ""not worried about mileage wear""the car will not have side mounts.
thanks

Mitch, I guess it all depends on what you classify as a "1930". I think the one-piece body apron began its introduction around Sept or Oct and by the end of 1930 all vehicles had made the transition away from the two-piece apron.

Brent has it right, so late '30 cars could have the one piece runningboard splash aprons.

Mitch--I just recently put new Goodyear blackwalls on my 1930 Town Sedan and am very happy with how the car drives and handles. I had some older B.F. Goodrich on there previously, and the Goodyear's track much better on the road...the tar strips do not seem to grab the tires as before. I would highly recommend them!
