Default Different '41 parking lights?

I noticed the '41 convertible shown in "Fords in the snow" has circular parking lights below the head lights. My '41 tudor has them on top of the fenders and so do other '41 Fords I've seen. A friend is building a '41 'vert street rod and it has the same circular light as the car in the snow.We thought it was an earlier modification by someone as it also had old Pontiac circular tail lights. The question I have is; do some '41 cars have different parking lights depending on the model?
