Default 1933 fordor front seat adjustment.

The lever for the front seat moves but the seat does not.
Don't want to force anything. Do these seats stick on the Rail? or is there another lever to loosen?

The front seat cushion just lifts up and off. Remove it and inspect the adjustment.

first
take your bottom cushion out.
there should be 2 rods that go to seat tracks.
this is the release.
If your seat tracks are stuck you must remove seat unit and free tracks up.
you will then see how the seat adjustment works.

Sorry, but you must be thinking of another year's seat adjustment mechanism. The car in question is a '33 and there are no rods leading to the seat tracks. Like a '32, the seat latching mechanism is located in the center of the front of the seat and it engages a bracket on the floor. When Frank removes his front seat bottom cushion as suggested above he will see more or less what shows in the photo below (ignoring the difference in the floor beneath the seat platform).

Once you have removed the bottom cushion, you first need to verify that when the seat adjustment handle in the center is pulled up the teeth in the extension of the handle are completely free to move back and forth within the opening in the bracket on the floor. Once you're confident that is the case try moving the outer edge of the seat assembly slightly forward and backward to ascertain if the upper track is not stuck on the lower track, repeating the process on the other side of the seat as well. (This is probably best done with two people as it takes some effort to hold up the handle far enough and still be able to move one side of the seat platform back and forth.)

If both sides are movable, the problem is likely either alignment or lack of lubrication. Try spraying the tracks with either WD 40 or liquid silicone moving the seat side back and forth to the extent that you can while doing so. If the seat tracks are still bound up, you can loosen the nuts that attach the upper seat tracks to the seat platform to see if there is enough play to eliminate the bind. If that fails, the next step is to remove the seat tracks one at a time and give them a good cleaning and lubrication.

Note the spring in the photo. When everything is up to snuff, this spring will pull the seat forward when you lift up the adjustment handle.

There are two springs. The large one in Dave's photo and a small one to return the handle.

The small one, unless removed, is the reason why you'll need three hands for what I described above as its purpose is to return the toothed extension to its locked position preventing any fore and aft movement of the seat.
