Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
I looked at the prototype last week at Bill Stipes but the new production units have not shipped yet. I too am anxious to get them.

Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
You might check with Bill Stipes. He did a dyno analysis on the 6.0 vs the 5.5 with stock carb and with Weber. I recall the dyno results were pretty rightous.

Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
Are those dyno results posted on the internet? It would be interesting to see the results. Thanks

Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
Tom, If you go to the Snyder's website and look up the new head, it will give you a link to the dyno results. I am ready to buy a Snyder's head but can't decide if the extra money is worth the little HP gain. Anyone have suggestions?

Several other things factor into this IMO. I happen to know there is enough "meat" on the deck to not only raise the compression ratio a tad more, --but also remove some of the recessed area above the piston effectively increasing the quench. Based on what I have physically seen in looking at this head, if someone is willing to do some "blueprinting", there is more performance to be gained. . |

Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
Is the valve area going to be big enough for the larger (1.800") intakes?

Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
Do they have them to ship? As of Friday afternoon, Snyders still did not have any.

Re: Snyders 6.0 ??
Greetings Brent,
I received my first 6.0 from Snyders in mid-April...they are shipping! I may have gotten one from the first batch as I had my name in for one for quite some time. I have not tested it yet. Dave |
