Shock Value?
I am surveying my stash of shocks.
I only have a few 31 shocks and may need to do some trading, but I am not there yet. One of the late 31 bodies was rebuilt at one time as it has the cover with all the Ford script writing all over it. The cover I think is from couple of month period from 27 to 28 so I am pretty sure it is wrong Is that cover extra desirable? My question is, what is a shock worth? Let me be specific, what is a shock worth when it is already apart and appears to have zero wear (looks new inside) but the cover is not very good? All 29 to 30 production shocks. |

Re: Shock Value?
Unless you have them assembled and tested at 60-40 I'm afraid that they would be considered cores by most and not worth nearly as much as working shocks. My guess 15-20 each.

Re: Shock Value?
Shocks that have already been taken apart wouldn't be worth much to most that are in the know . I've sold stuck cores for $12.50 each. The price will go up if I ever sell any more. I've never had much interest in rebuilding old shocks.
