What is original Fender Welting Width ?
hi Gang ; Does anyone happen to know what Fords WIDTH of the welting was
at the front fender to splash shield joint ( 30 Tudor)? I know the piping is 1/8" and assume the width would be about the width of the front fender lip, I'd like to know a more precise value though, Thanks ,Kev. |

I think fender welting is 3/16", but I am not real sure.

Thanks, actually I am asking about the width of the strip that gets trapped between the fender and running board, but its hard to explain that ,Kev.

If I understand your last post ? welting does not go between the fender and the runningboard, it stops at the inside of the runningboard. Ron |
