Is all Running Board Matting the same Quality?

Hello A Gang; I am wondering if there is any difference in the quality of Running Board matting from the various vendors; Sniders, Brattons, Vintique; etc? I was reading on Marco's site where he said todays stuff does not duplicate the pattern of the original in terms of how many squares per square inch of pyramid ; is this still the case or has someone started making a better repo?
