Default 59A-B heads

I bought a set of 59A-B heads at a auction sale Sat. They are in nice shape and want to clean them up and keep for the future. The spark plugs were still in the holes only a few treads. The rest of the treads are rusty. Is there a tap I could buy to chase/clean these treads. Also, what to use to remove the rust in the heads? Thanks Tom Z...

There are many spark plug rethread tools around KD makes
several. DO NOT use a regular tap. With plenty of oil too.

Bring the head and the spark plug to NAPA and buy thread chasing tool. Neutralize the rust with OSPHO. Then clean with a small round wire brush.

Kroil or "space force" kroil. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal.../aerokroil.php

You could bath them in rust911 or something similar to store.
