Does anyone have a horn repair person with a website. I would sooner have my horn rebuilt than by a new one. Any help would be appreciated.

This guy rewinds for $95, about half what the others want. No rewind is $45. [email protected] I had 15 horns, all sold. Only one needed a rewind. Mostly they need cleaning up and lightly sand the comutator, maybe new brushes.

Horns are one of the simplest things on an A to restore. If you need the armerature rewound there are several who do that. As stated above $95 seems to be about the going rate. Rewinding the field coils is real simple if you can count to 45 or so. Other than some cleaning and painting and basic soldering there is nothing to it. The satisfaction of doing it yourself is woth the work. Just my opinion. Rod

I had a wiper motor repaired by him and he did a great job. Fast, reasonable, and good communication - 2nd the recommendation.
