Default anyone use gibbs oil ?

so i got my F1 lightly sanded smooth from bumper to bumper, i decided to repaint the inside of the cab, i painted the inside of the bed with por 15, just the floor and a inch up on the sides, it was rusted bad.
now i plan on rubbing to whole outside of the truck, and the walls of the bed with gibbs oil to help fight the rust and brighten the remaining paint.
so i did a couple test spots, it looks real good, but im not sure if i should rub it in till there's nothing left on it but the shine, or leave a little oil on the surface.
i think i should rub it in till its soaked in and the surface is as oil free as possible, or the remaining oil coat will hold dust and so on.
what do ya,ll think ?
anyone ever use gibbs oil for rust retardation and paint preservation ?

Used Gibbs through one summer on new steel fenders until winter then body work and paint. The fenders did pick up some rust, not bad but was starting.
