Plug wire ends
Hey Guys,
Quick question. I am replacing the spark plug wires on my wagon today. I got my wires in yesterday. One end is copper and the other end is brass. Which end goes to the distributor cap? |

Re: Plug wire ends
The brass end goes into the cap. If the wires you have shown are for your original 33 Ford V8 wagon then they are not the correct type. The 33 engine should have the black wires with the little circular hook spark plug ends which go under the plug terminal nut. Or do you have a later engine in your wagon ? Regards, Kevin.

Re: Plug wire ends
Thanks Kevin. My engine is a 1933 engine with light modifications. The system is 12 volts and it uses a Mallory dual point distributor. The wires I bought are for ‘37 - ‘41crab distributor. They are 7.8 ml.
