Default early coupe rumble tool box

Any barners have a print or measurement list for the wooden tool box that fit over the passenger wheel well. I'd like to make one for my 36. There is one on ebay right now that is a bit pricy and I could knock one together pretty easy with my scrap pile here.
Thanks,JM

No, I wasn't aware of that. In fact, I only became aware of the tool box from posts on Ford Barn.

Hmmmmmm? If the trunk/rumble tool box was not available from Ford in '36... Why does my Sept. 36 couple have this tool box mounted over the right fender? I'm the second owner of the car..
I guess another one of those rule breakers... i.e. avoid using the terms, Never and Always when talking about old cars..

Don Rogers V8 Club restoration book list the tool box as being eliminated in late March 1935. That's a long time before 36 production started. The 36 does have a tool pouch cut into the side panel on the drivers side it is forward and below the top of the left rear wheel well. The photos below are 35 Cabriolet with both the box and pouch, from Mike Burch's original car.

Give us some dimensions, fellas. Please!
I hate to waste that unused space. The interior support in my car has 2 holes that correspond with the T- nuts that the boxes I've seen in pix have. Must have been something there.

Hi there Johndee138 and Tagman,

A Tool Box has been fitted to both sides of my early build 35. Both look Factory made. I will draw up the sizes for you this weekend. Please PM me with your email details, and I can attach drawings for you.
I also have a spare , and if one of you guys pays for shipping over to the good ol USA, I will let you have it for Free.
