Default 49-51 Ford Shop Manual

I have been fighting this manual because it has Ford parts numbers & regular stock, off the auto parts shelf, parts numbers. They usually begin with the number 3 and are either five or six digits long. I can identify the Ford numbers but I can not have a reference to go to for the stock, auto parts items. Can anyone direct me to a source for these non Ford items. They are nuts, bolts & washers. Thanks

Those are most likely Ford numbers for hardware and are usually listed in the
back sections of the parts book. Post a couple of the numbers so we can see
if they are Ford numbers.

20523-s = 3/8-24 x 2" hex bolt
44727-s = 3/8 flat washer
33800-s = 3/8 hex nut
34908-s = 7/16 internal star lock washer
34370-s = 3/8-24 locking nut (or elastic locking nut)
These are hardware store items where Ford part numbers are useless.

Best not to overthink this stuff, most nuts and bolts are hardware store items.

351062-s =3/8-24 hex nut (one end tapered that goes on clutch pull rod to engage clutch lever)

You need the parts book not the shop manual for these numbers.

Roy can supply a lot or original type hardware. http://www.fordscript.com/
Most chassis parts catalogs have a hardware section but they are also listed with the assemblies they are associated with.
