Default 1949 flathead start up

Engine is free but has not been run for a long time. What type of oil and antifreeze should I use? Engine has not been rebuilt. thanks

find some 10-30 oil, any brand, it is all better than what was around in 1949. I wouldnt put any antifreeze in it until you are sure there are no leaks or bad hoses. It might be good to flush the system before adding any liquid.
