Default Setting carberator float

Does anybody know how to set the floats on a Tellison and a marvel all state carb and do they bend them or do they add washers to the float valve and the measurements of the floats.

On a Tilly one gasket tighten down, place the float hinge over the mounting bracket and install hinge pin-Turn he body upside down and if necessary, adjust he float by bending the float lever until it is parallel to the machined edge of the upper body to give it a distance of one inch from the bottom of the float top(top while inverted) to the edge of the upper body.

Renner's Corner has float level adjustment gaskets for both the Tillotson and Marvel Carburetors. The also have float level gauges.

I agree with bending the float arm. Bend it carefully with needlenose close to the hinge keeping the needle section smooth, clean and straight.
