lots of over-heating problems on the '32 V-8 - notoriously so. Even my '34 had had its engine later replaced with a 39LB.

They had tons of problems with the complex casting required..heres a list of oral histories from the people involved at the time..fascinating reading.

Pumps in the block about mid 1936 raised the pressure. I would guess at altitude and a head pump water would boil at well below 200 F. |
