Please check out J&M machine in Southborough Mass, not far from you. They have an amazing shop, dealing exclusively in antique automobile engines. While they have done hundreds of Model A's, the also do any other engine, from RR to the only running PT boat engine.
They welcome visitors if you want to see the shop. During my rebuild, they sent update photos to document my engine.
I did my engine done there, as well as several of my friends. PM me if you would like to stop by and see how mine runs. I have no business relationship to the company, just a happy customer.
They have a Face Book page, and a site http://jandm-machine.com/marine.html

thanks for the info, Iam trying to see if or who is close to New York, cause to go to Schalms would be over 4 hours, but it seems like the majority go to Schalms.

I have & (our club) toured his shop, very nice operation, clean & organized and he has nice equipement. I have not used him, however one of members from Worcester County did. Motor yet to be installed so I can not comment any more. than that. He was very easy to work with and.
