Default Mercomatic gear linkage bushing

1956 Mercury with auto trans, the gear shift linkage on the transmission there seems to be a rubber bushing that is torn. After searching I can’t seem to find one anywhere, seems like an easy fix. Any thoughts on a part number or where to find one?
Thanks all,
Ryan

my '60 is the exact same way. I disassembled, applied silicone grease to all the parts and reassembled. you may find a rubber grommet that fits. I was in a hurry to get the car on the road so I'll search for a grommet for mine this winter.

I think I found the right one, figured I’d post it in case you were interested

cool, thanks. now trick on how to swedge center piece on the car. our '41 had similar piece on the column shifting arms and I use a ball from a brg to swedge it out but arms were off the column.
