Good 8BA ('53) block, unknown 221 59L motor, #78 trans case
City:
Califon
State:
NJ
Price:
Various
OK, selling off a few big, heavy items in anticipation of a move.
Here is what I have for sale now: 1) Bare '53 Ford block. Boiled and magg'd and test great with no cracks. It is still standard bore. Has correct caps with it. Bob @ Easton Electrical did the testing and once over. If you know him, you know this is a like getting a Gold Seal of Approval. Asking $600. 2) 221 c.i. 59L block. I know, you are like what? From what I gather these were replacement blocks for early cars and were made sometime in the mid-later 40's, From what I'm told, they are can be bored out to to a 239. Untest, still has some pistons in it. Comes with crank. Asking $60. 3) A few #78 trans. cases. All great condition with perfect thrust bearing surfaces. Asking $100 each for them. May be able to supply a #81A top. Top is $150 or $125 if you purchase a trans. case. ***All items are local pick up at this time. I'm located in No. Central NJ. Off of Exit 24 on Rt. 78.*** Let me know if you have any questions. I'll try to post picts., but all parts are straight and and as described. Thanks. |
