Default Skip Haney (Distriburtors and Water Pumps) Thank you

JUst thought I would let folks know how helpful Skip Haney has been to me dealing with Distributor issues. As a few of you might recall I had been (yes past tense :-) ) fighting issues with my ford for a few years to the point that I felt it was all ignition related AND of course it wasn't. I can take this distributor on and off the car blindfolded and be-able to disassemble and reassemble it if need be. (pretty sad) I don't have a distributor machine but decided I've learned so much about the distribator and dwell time coil saturation point influence of the cap. to the ouput voltage of the coil....,,

I'm going to attempt to design a tool to help people like me prove that they have set the points correctly (when done with a feeler gauge) I believe I can make something with a 3-d printer that along with at ohm meter you could verify the points are in a reasonable range (not perfect but).

FYI my background is dealing with all types of problums in the field i ALWAYS LOOKED BEYOND THE basics well I blew it on this one.

Plugged gas cap (tank not venting)
weak battery
Intermintent ignition switch
Coil and distriburator related stuff

However most important is I want to thank Skip for all his support!!!!

The crappy connections on an ignition switch will drive you to distraction. Works, dont work, works, dont work, Never could get a constant problem.
