Default Harmon Collins Mag

I have a Harmon Collins Mag that I am getting ready to install on a 59 Flathead. The mag has the lead plate that bolts to the timing cover. I know that the advance in the mag is "locked" and that the initial advance setting is also the total advance setting. My question has to do with the advance and retard markings on the lead plate. Are the markings in 1 or 2 degree increments?

What is the exact diameter of the LEAD PLATE? What is that dimension when multiplied by 3.1416? What is that when divided by 360? The answer is the spacing of 2 crankshaft degrees per increment. If the Lead Plate degree spacing is about 1/2 your final answer then it would be in increments of 1 crankshaft degree.
