Default 1948-1952 Panel Truck specific...(dual master cylinder)...

I bought and installed Speedway Motors front disk brake conversion...Need to know what (48-52 Panel Truck owner's) have used for dual master cylinder set ups for (Disk to Drum)....Power or not...kit or other...I don't care...I WANT IT UNDER THE FLOOR / ORIGINAL LOCATION that's all...I just want to NOT have clearance issues with the gas tank OR major mods....So....What are YOU using under YOUR 48-52 Panel Truck for Dual Master Cylinder (Disk to Drum)???? Thanks in advance...Mark

I don't have a panel, and can't think offhand of anyone I know who does who has converted to dual MC or power dual MC. I would guess that a dual will fit, depending which adapter you use. Some are a ~4" long tube, some are simply a flat plate. I kind of doubt a boosted dual is going to fit, because I think you have to use the tube style for the booster can to clear. Can you measure how much room you have?

Mark, on the F-1 panel, the gas tank bracket in the front is close for clearance on the length for booster and M/C. Like Ross said ,you'll need to do some measuring to see what will fit. I've heard that the Corvette M/C fill fit. That design was used in a lot of universal fits. may check with Candi at Classic Haulers in Indiana. Ken

Thanks guys...Yeah I don't want to waste $$$ on a kit that won't fit...I'll keep searching and maybe try to find a panel owner and talk to Candi....I'll also check on measurements and get back to you...Thanks again
