Intnl Model A Ford Day 2014

Don't forget International Model A Ford Day is Saturday, Sept 13 this year, with a Sept 14 LOCAL rain date.

The MODEL CHOSEN fot his year's patch is a BLACK TOWN SEDAN with red wheels and I wonder between WHITEWALLS and Black Walled tires.

Please, for those considering ordering them, cast an opinion. They should be $3 apiece INCLUDES SHIPPING to lower 48 states with all profits going to Model A Youth.

I agree with Carl -- black would be more accurate, but I vote for white. A Black car with black tires will be a lot of black on the car. The patches in the past have had a lot of black too. Combine the two and I don't know what kind of appeal it will have to the average Model A'er.

Whitewalls for sure. I am mostly a purist except on the tire issue. I think wide whites magnify the beauty of a cars color.

Model A YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP program gives thousands of tuition dollars to the childeren and grand children of Model A CLub Members
Model A RESTORATION has provided MODEL A's to youth or assists them with their projects. Mike V who is a frequent poster here from Florida's son is working on his Program Provided Victoria as I recall.

I prefer Black on a car, but WHITEWALLS shows up on the patch so much better.

I was thinking that WW would take away from the car and focus on the tire. But in this case I think the WW will work better on the patch. And I will take one as well.

Change the red wheels to green. and see what that looks like.

I prefer black, but all black is too much black. The accent should be done with pinstripe and/or reveals. Just my opinion.

Hi Mark,
Ken Ehrenhoffer and I discussed we will have International Model A Ford Day in Michigan on Sept 20th as an alternate.

The 13th has 400 Model A's participating on Long Island during the New England Meet.
Oh, how great it would be to coordinate these events next year !
