Default Pictures of the Sedan top

OK, I am going to show the results of my first efforts at replacing a sedan top. I installed new wood. Followed some advice and used a Masonite insert which I smoothed into everything. Used the foam supplied with the top kit and commenced to covering. pull tack, pull tack, all this with no help. Got metal trim for front and back but could not get it bent for the back so used hidem welt. By this time all I wanted was the car back on the road. It was a pain the the butt, back, shoulders, hands, etc. and it is not perfect but I am very happy with it. Kind of like the first car you buy with our own money. I earned this one. see it at www.picturetrail.com/bartmcneill

Nice work. I installed a roof on my Fordor recently and it is truly a pain.

As with any work you do on your own, you know where all the flaws are.

It sure looks great to me as well as the others. you did a great job.
