Default Roadster windshield how to needed

So I bought a 31 Standard roadster, and am starting to work on it. The first item is the windshield frame, while it has good glass there is some rot on the tubing (frame) I want to repair. How does it come apart, my coupe had screws and a bracket in the corners this does not seem to have any, also when done although I have read the judging manual it does not mention what finish the frame would have, right now it is several colors of paint. I am thinking black, but, I don't want to guess on this project. Thanks for your help.

The pivot bolts are all that hold the top on the windshield. 30/31 open car windshields are no like 28/29 windshield that have 2 screws on each side near the top. There is a forged internal corner bracket that is spot welded into the top tubing. I took a 30/31 windshield apart a few months ago and found that was the way they were constructed.

Thanks for the reply but am not sure I understand. I need to separate the frame to remove the glass, the frame is out of the car. Are you saying there is no mechanical means to keep it together? just the cloth on the windshield?

There is a nut that holds the cone on the windshield frame where it pivots.
Remove the nut and the cone then remove the stud and the top section of
the frame can be tapped up to remove it.

Judging standards say paint the frame same color as the belt rail on the body, or black.
