Default gas tank relocation

Has anyone relocated the gas tank on a 1926 ford model t. I really don't like the gas tank sitting in front of me.
Thanks
Jerry

If you think about it, it really is the safest place for the tank to be in the event of an accident. If it were out back, a rear-ender would crush it. It's above any side impact with a modern car. And a front end impact would have to be quite violent to impact the tank where it sits.

The way you describe it makes sense. Ok I will leave it.
Thanks
