Default '47 flathead

I have a freshly rebuilt '47 flathead. It has less than 100 miles on it. Anyone out there have an idea of what it's worth?

Without hearing it run and without documentation, including photos it's hard to say.

The engine has been professionally rebuilt. I don't have a video at this time, but I do have documentation. I am just looking for a ballpark figure as to its worth. Thanks.

If you have all the receipts for a recent rebuild, I'll throw out 2K.

Who was the "professional" rebuilder? Where, in general, are you located?

Properly rebuilt, it should be in the $2000 to $3500 range. Location still matters.

Your best place to look for prices on anything is flea-pay for general information. I build my own engines and seldom trust those touted to be professionally rebuilt. I've run into "professional rebuilders" that have never seen a flathead before. They are too different from modern monkey motion engines for some folks to fathom. It's too easy to end up with a rattle can special these days. A krylon overhaul looks good in a photograph.
