Default '32 Roadster help

Getting ready to place an order with Brookville and have a question for you '32 Roadster guys. They list an item called an upholstery channel that bolts about 8" from the door opening at the top of the quarter panel and attaches to the seat riser. Was this an original Ford item? Do I need this? Thank you all.

Yeah, that piece originally was welded at the top of the body and angles down to the seat riser where it connects to the end pieces of the riser. It gives the panel that goes back from the door post something to hook to. I will add a picture of it to my public album of my 32 roadster in a few minutes.

Picture added for firerod. Anybody know how to arrange the public albums in the order you want? I have several and some people don't know there are more then the 3 that show initially, you have to click on "show all albums" or something like that.
Also, how do you arrange the order of the pictures after you make the ablum?

Thanks for the help. Those parts were missing from the Brookville body I bought.
