Default Radius Rod Front

I am using the rubber ball style radius rod cups, they are cast items instead of stamped. When purchasing a new set to replace the ones on my 30 tudor they do not come with the spacers or compression springs. My question is, what tightness (torque) do I put on the bolts that hold the two halves in place? Just snug them up or is there a known torque they should be set at?
I am installing a 39 Ford transmission in my car. I am using the Cling's V8 transmission adapter with the fabricated radius rod ball retainer, mounting the two piece radius rod caps to the fabricated bracket with rubber ball installed on the radius rod. With the use of stacked washers on the bolts I can tighten the castle nuts up to a point that I can install the cotter key pins. Is there a torque factor that these nuts should be set at?
Thanks for whatever advise you can pass my way.

Just tighten the nuts with common sense, no torque setting needed and no springs are used with the rubber ball setup.
