Default front wheel hub for 46-48 Ford stud removal

Are the studs in the front wheel hub swedged in like the rear ones? I need to remove the studs and don't want to mess something up. If they are swedged in I know they have to be cut to remove. thanks for your help.

yes, they are swedged. if you are putting new drums on its a good idea to check the face of the hub so the new drum is as true as possible, and less to cut to final fit. my local parts store will true the hub, then i take home and mount the drum, and they true the brake surface. leave the bearing races in for all of this, skip

Drill the studs from the back to save the drums. Or if your hubs are on the inside.
As cas3 said, true up the hubs... I take a flat file to the mounting surface.
Distortion will be around the stud holes from the swedging, so not a lot of filing to do.
