I hope you gentlemen can help me find a place where I can buy rear axle wheel bearing grease. I've read that the synthetic grease is no good for these bearings. So I'm trying to find the right grease so I don't trash my axle housings.

My NAPA doesn't carry that grease. So I ordered it from www.fastenal.com.

I was able to order SL3131 heavy duty drum brake grease fom NAPA recently. It was not on the shelf, but available the next day from the warehouse. I purchased several cans to have some on hand.....LouB.

I had a NAPA store to order me some. Came in the next day from warehouse. It is real thick stuff. Re-packed front wheel bearings on 30 coupe. So far so good.
SL 3131. Good luck. Charles Cost about $5.00 can

You did good. My NAPA would not order it as he said it is a slow seller and he would have to buy a case. Plus it was about $9 a can.
