So we try to hit every tour, every year, and have very fortunate so far. This averages out to 1500 to 1700 miles per year, this year was down a bit @ 1436 miles. Try and drive all you can! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas fellow Forder's! Be well - Chris As the photo shows - Annie our Deluxe Coupe, and yours truly, have been together quite some time! Thanks again Dad for my link to the Model A world and your great car.................. |

Re: How many miles this years?
Keith -
Unfortunately the line in the photo is from the damaged print (taken by Dad's Kodak box camera.) That photo shows the car with its original Firestone tires - circa 1958. I would say that Dad got his moneys worth for $85.00 he drove home an original owner 1930 Deluxe Coupe built without cowl lites - yet sporting 47k original miles..........! A friend said I should have the picture restored - what do you think? Thanks for looking - Chris Last edited by SHEC; 12-23-2015 at 07:15 PM. |

Our '57 Chevy was built in Oct of '56 in Oakland and stayed with us in Sacramento until '98 when we left, for saner grounds.

Re: How many miles this years?
Very cool -
I will try to stir up a shot of my '57 Bel Air from "back in the day"! Turquoise with white top - in 1977 we called her "Golden Years" - still holds true in opinion. You folks anywhere near my good friends family in Chelsea OK? |
