40 Deluxe stabilizer bar swivel
What is the proper orientation for this part that attaches the stab. bar to the perch pin? When I took apart my front end it was as shown in the attached picture. I've since seen pictures with them switched side to side & turned over (19fordys for example). Other searches show both ways. What's correct?
Thanks, Bob |

Here's a few photos. Click on photo to enlarge. I welded a piece of 1/8 welding rod to the "U" shaped opening in the radiator splash pan to prevent vibration and cracking.

Re: 40 Deluxe stabilizer bar swivel
I have never seen Lovejoy Shocks before.
Are they better than Henry's OEM? Thanks for posting. |

Re: 40 Deluxe stabilizer bar swivel
19Fordy-
I have Lovejoy on two cars and love them. They are literally bullet-proof, easy/cheap to rebuild and give a great ride. Nothing to drill, just take off the old Ford shocks and bolt them on. As evidence of their durability, these were the shocks of choice for many of yesterday's moonshine runners! Pictures enclosed are of front and rear. on my '35.
