Default Training the Next Generation

My 35 year old daughter laid claims to my 35 Fordor as her inheritance. She helped me wet sand the fenders when she was in high school and her 2 bros didn’t I told her she had to learn how to start it, and drive it. I am the 2nd owner of this having purchased with my brother in 1968 from the original owner. We drove it in high school.

I hope more are getting the next gen interested so our hobby doesn’t die with us.

Being a motorhead is not exclusive to being a male. For now anyways. Shut up and get in the kitchen is old school crap. I've always been able to outcook every girlfriend and wife I've had. Now if she put in a drop axle (done it a few times) while I was making ribs. Love it. Wouldn't think twice giving one of my nieces a car.

Neat car.

Great story! Please post some more pics of the car and the two of you. I often think of the historical significance and heritage and getting more youngsters involved. Thanks for posting.

Oh well, at least one of your kids ended up all right!! lol. I wish at least one of my kids showed an interest in my old stuff, alas, not to be.
You've owned your 35 longer than me- I got mine in '71. Great cars!
