I have recently revived a Facebook page that actually got its start before the Internet! Back in the 1970's a bunch of us with Model A Panel trucks started tracking as many as we could find around the world by snail-mail. Some from that group started a Facebook page but, eventually other things got in the way and it was abandoned. If you're on Facebook please join us at "Ford Model A Panel Trucks".

This wide bed isn't too far from home. It was only out for the holidays. Not yard art.

PB took a money grab a few years ago. For a long time there basic service was free, then they started a pay program. Those that did not fork over the dough lost their images!

This was at the MARC tent at Hershey a few years ago. Really neat truck and very well done. I believe I was told that it was a recreation rather than a restoration though.

Yep, Photobucket has been holding photos hostage for a while now. I've stopped posting on websites and just post stuff on the MARC Facebook page.

This vehicle was restored from an original car. There was a very good article in the Model A News a few years ago detailing the restoration. I've found several pictures of these vehicles back in the Model A era. They were cooled by dry ice (or whatever the period equivalent was).

I recall a similar vehicle from my childhood, except that it was a '33-'34 Chevrolet and the chill came from block ice. On a hot day the driver was kept busy with shifting his ice around to keep the iced product intact.

Harvesting ice on Rock Lake in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. The ice house was at the shore, and near rail road tracks, that shipped the ice to Milwaukee, Chicago, and other locations.

That's a neat truck - kind of a roadster/phaeton version of a town car delivery.

Pictured outside of a rock quarry UK, probably cooling of its brakes. The other picture is the same place 1986, note the road way has not changed.
