Default Emergency Brake cross shaft

I have an 82-B pickup. The title says 1930, but the emergency brake cross shaft is a 1931 style. The pickup is not a steel top. Does anyone out there know the actual date when ford switched over to the 1931 style of cross shaft and approximately how long after that, the change would of appeared on the truck?

Your design was used from April 1930 through production.
