Deuce Roadster, are you still in possession of some of the gauge fluid? If so, would you be willing to part with enough to do my gauge? I am working on a '32 BB truck for a farm family who bought it new, way back when. It's a typical farm truck, beat to hell! I would really like to talk to you about how you repaired the gauge also. BoxCar, I looked online and this is the same fluid from Classic & Exotic. Sounds like they are winding down their business and selling inventory through Straight Eight. I used the Classic & Exotic fluid but the color has faded after a couple of years and my car is always stored on a garage so it is not out in the sunlight often.

The original [tetra-bromo-ethane] liquid was tinted with 'Durant scarlet dye'. when your repop liquid fades out, try adding a drop or two of cochineal red food colouring....
