Following Marco, Patrick and Purdy's suggestions I now have good braking action on all 4 wheels and no overheating. Thanks guys, I am very grateful for your help!
I think previously the brake pedal action was just taking up the slack and not moving the front levers back far enough to actually spread the shoes. I still don't understand why that was causing the front drums to overheat when driving along normally without using the brakes. |
