I just bought some PPG and it came to about that price, $94 for a quart. I bought a quart of the same color back 3 years ago and it was $56. That is a 67% increase over the past three years.

What's the FIRST thing anyone looking at your car sees?

I, personnaly, have had GREAT results with the PPG Concepts, single stage products. No paint booth, just in my shop. Good compressor and a GOOD GUN........AND Hobby-Air supply for me (VERRY IMPORTANT!).

I just bought PPG DCC at about $100 for a quart. I was going to go w/ a 2 stage on the body and the single stage for engine compartment, but may stick with the single stage for entire thing....

Add alittle flatner to the pait for the firewall as it was never buffed out and does not have the sheen od the body.

I have used PPG Concept for as long as it has been available and feel it is the best. Their DCC 9300 black is outstanding. Henry's painters would say " HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" Concept is expensive but with the HVLP guns it goes so much further than with my Binks #7 gun. As an alternative to the high prices, check out TCPGlobal.com. They have all the types of paint at lower prices. I have used their paint and it will certainly out last me.
