Default 1928-9 Sunvisors covered on Tudors, Coupes?

Am I correct in believing that ALL 1928 and 1929 Tudors and Coupes had the sunvisor covered with top material when they left the Ford factory?

I've heard from some that believe not all were covered or the covering may have been an option. I thought they were all covered originally, but do see several Tudors and Coupes running around these days with just a painted sunvisor, as the Briggs and Murrays Fordors have.

Thanks

Tom, I'm sure your right. All the original cars I've seen have covered visors. I think some restorers have gone with the painted visors as a matter of expediency.

When I restored my September 1929 Standard Coupe...the visor was black...just as black as the body. Absolutly no sign of it ever been covered. However it is now.

I've been told that only the Sport Coupe had the visors covered. Two of the people who told me this pointed out that mine was missing the fabric. Of course, in my case, the color is a tad off, so it doesn't bother me, lol. Sorry, but I am not an expert on this subject.

Same here with my May 1929 Tudor.

1928 AR Tudor (well most of it) No fabric on the original visor; only paint. Not saying it is correct for who knows what the 3 previous owners did.

When I bought my original tudor a couple of years ago there were still remnants of the covering attached. Every factory picture I've seen shows them covered on the coupes and tudors.
