Default Happy Birthday Mr. Ford

Happy Birthday Mr. Ford:

Best wishes,
Brad in Maryland

PS: This photo is an original press release showing Mr. Ford cutting a birthday cake at a private celebration given by his closest friends when he turned 65 years old (30 July 1929 according to the description on the back of this press photo).

An important day in history, although "history is more or less bunk".

Neat picture thanks, never saw that one before.

I thought that too, looks nice. How did they mow fairways and stuff at golf courses back then?

I spoke with a fellow today (77 y/o) who's grand father or uncle worked for mr Ford in his garage and also took care of flower beds around his home. He said he had seen photos of the grounds that his relative had of his work there.

My dad wasn't born yet when the photo above was made and the roads around here were like logging roads. Most lawns that didn't have a goat were hayfields.

Don't see a picture
Must be this one...
Look at the little car on his right, looks like it was in a wreck
And someone boosted the front tire on the other one
