Hi,
I'm am a NOVICE with a 1930 Murray Town Sedan. SO, I don't know if this is the best way, but I took my front seat out by removing the screws holding the steel tracks to the body and then lifting the seat out.
Regards.

take all the seat bolts out, or atleas the nut and whatever kind of washere thats on top off. then take the knob off the front of the seat thats on the bottom. Then screw that steel rod all the way back as possible. Then move the tracks forward untill the front seat bolts fall out of the track. Next lift the back up first and slide the seat forward untill the steel rod falls out of the hole. then your ready to take it out of the car. I can do it by myself, but a lot of people cant, so maybe get your wife to help with that part.
