Default Headlamp reflector question.

In an earlier post (about making new reflectors, according to Ford blueprints), it was mentioned that the lamp socket was 1/16 inch off center.

I found this information in the Ford Service Bulletins (page 362), where it talks about changes to the single bulb reflector. It mentions that the socket sleeve is mounted 1/16 inch above the headlamp axis.

I just had two single bulb reflectors re-silvered. I don't know if I have the "old reflectors" or the "new reflectors" (with the socket sleeve 1/16 " above the axis). The reflectors did not come with the car. I'm not sure that I can make precise measurements of the reflectors (I'm going to try and come up with something!).

I have a few questions:
Does it make any difference which reflectors I have?
Will the headlamp still focus correctly?
How do you tell which is the "top" of the reflector?

My A is a factory '30 Deluxe Coupe, assembled around April/May.

Thanks!
