Default 1931 Ford 01A Coupe

I am thinking of purchasing a Ford Model A advertixed as a "ford 01A coupe"
What does the O1A indicate?

Thanks
Rod

Nothing. The fella has some mis information. 01A would be a 40s ford reference #.
As always take another Model A guy with you and validate the points he is considering to value his car at $22k.
Also good to look up what comparable cars have SOLD for.

Is this the car?
Nice, clean Coupe!

It may be a typo as in 31A instead of 01A. No telling what he was thinking.

The coupes are generally in the body style 45 category as in a 45B coupe. The 45A was the earlier 1928/29 types. The car has later wheels on it with larger tires so it looks a bit fat on the lower end.

That Hemmings listing shows an auto trans! The wheels are later type, but don't look too bad.
